Zephyr Wind Services

A new start-up, Zephyr Wind Services, purchased the 55,000 square foot NuCrane Building for its wind generator refurbishing facility.  The company specializes in repairing and rebuilding the large electric generators found on wind towers.  With an inventory of generators on hand, Zephyr Wind Services can swap out a unit in just a day or two, allowing the wind tower to be put back into production with the smallest possible delay.  The City of Hutchinson helped make the project possible by providing with a loan for equipment.
