UPONOR Purchases 238,000 sf Manufacturing Building in Hutchinson

UPONOR purchased a 238,000-sf building from Hutchinson Technology, Inc. to establish its second large U.S. manufacturing facility for PEX piping.  PEX pipe is the next generation replacement for everything that used to be done with copper pipe in both residential and commercial applictions.  The City of Hutchinson helped make the project possible with a Tax Abatement and worked with the State of Minnesota to provide project financing from both the Minnesota Investment Fund and the Job Creation Fund.
