RD Machine Adds 21,000 Square Feet

RD Machine, a CNC machine shop, completed a 21,000 square foot expansion of its manufacturing facility, more than doubling its square footage. Three years ago the company approached the City of Hutchinson about leasing space in the Hutchinson Enterprise Center, the city’s small business incubator. RD Machine’s goal was to experiment with waterjet cutting, both as a way to meet its own needs but also as a way to grow the business. The experiment proved to be a huge success and the company made a dramatic expansion as a result. The City of Hutchinson helped make the project feasible with an economic development TIF District.
