“Energy Park” is now 100% complete. This summer Industrial Boulevard between Michigan Street and Impressions, Inc. was reconstructed and a second “lift” of bituminous was added to both Hackbarth Street and Benjamin Avenue in the new Industrial Park. Also, water and sewer service was extended to a 3.09 acre lot in the southwest corner of the industrial park, making it ready for development.

Next Steps:

The EDA is in the process of closing out the federal EDA grant so the remaining $238,955 can be collected by the city. Also, the EDA will work on closing out the State of Minnesota “Business Development Public Infrastructure” grant and pull in that $250,000.
